Since 2017 GYNEMED GmbH & Co. KG has been a member of the American Hamilton Thorne Group together with a number of other companies within the fertility industry.

Planer works closely with Human IVF, Animal IVF, Transgenic Research and Stem Cell Research sectors to understand their needs and develop and source high-quality, reliable equipment conforming to ISO and Medical Device standards and, where appropriate, assist with compliance, including 21 CFR Pt 11.

Using its years of expertise and experience, Planer develops and manufactures pioneering and innovative products to the highest standards and provides uncompromising service to the UK market and around the world directly and through its distributors and service agents in over 90 countries.


IVFtech is a family-run Danish company based north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The company has been operating since 1998 and possesses market-leading industry experience and knowledge. In 2021 IVFtech was acquired by the American group Hamilton Thorne Ltd. and is now part of this global group.
IVFtech is innovative and always on the lookout for new technology and ideas to help solve clients’ challenges and specific needs and are passionate manufacturer of bespoke workstations, incubators, and equipment for IVF laboratories. Tek-Event, based in Sydney, Australia, is the manufacturer of the Cell-Tek Microscope Chamber, a specialized product for controlling temperature, air flow, humidification, and air quality that is used in ART and laboratory markets worldwide. The Cell-Tek Chamber is designed to create an optimum environment for visually examining, manipulating, transferring, or assessing oocytes and embryos for in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Tek-Event is also a value-added reseller of a select range of capital equipment and consumables, including those manufactured by Hamilton Thorne. Tek-Event serves approximately 90% of IVF clinics in Australia.
